Floriade Fashion
The special collaboration between Floriade and top couturier JANTAMINIAU began in 2011. These two Dutch icons came together through their love of culture, nature, quality and sustainability. The contact between JANTAMINIAU and Floriade 2012 gave rise to the "Nature Extends" collection with its pieces based on nature and the "natural". Using the concept of "Nature Extends" as his starting point, Jan Taminiau has designed five unique pieces especially for Floriade 2012, drawing his inspiration from nature. JANTAMINIAU has also designed the Floriade staff uniforms.
The Floriade Fashionshow in collaboration with JANTAMINIAU will take place on Friday 11 May 2012 at the Floriade Theatre. On the 10th of May trend watcher Lidewij Edelkoort will be giving a talk about the Horticultural view on Fashion.
